Biography[edit | edit source]
Prior to A New Direction[edit | edit source]
Max Wilson was born in New York and grew up there. He quickly rose quite high in the Show Choir food chain and became top performer in the country. After high school he attended New York University studying a teaching degree because he had always admired his history teacher at high school and wanted to be one. He was put through many trails as people picked on Max for being quite feminine and taking part in the University's drama department as a wardrobe assistant. This made Max angry and jaded, he decided that the only way he was going to get any respect was to be arrogant and demand respect. After graduating he applied for numerous teaching jobs, none of which were history. He was teaching at Rolling Hills Preparatory in LA when Will's job opened up at McKinley, he applied and got the job, annoyed with Sue's constant bragging about her show choir Max revived The Troubletones to take her down.
Season 1[edit | edit source]
Personality[edit | edit source]
Max's arrogant and jaded behavior is mainly an act so he doesn't have to show the real him and be hurt by people's reactions to and opinions of him. Underneath it he is a very sweet and lovely guy.
