Biography[edit | edit source]
Prior to A New Direction[edit | edit source]
JP grew up in Houston, Texas. He originally went to Harvard University and majored in Folklore and Mythology, after he earned that degree he found it hard to get any employment, so he enrolled into a guidance counseling course, and at the age of 23 he received his degree and set off to Chicago, New York and L.A. but every school he went to had no vacancy for him. So he turned to the internet and found that William McKinley High in Lima was looking for someone to take over so their current counselor could take maternity leave. He was hired quickly and has been at McKinley for three years.
Season 1[edit | edit source]
