Prior to A New DirectionEdit

Caleb grew up in an abusive home his father was a wealthy lawyer and his mother was a housewife, his father was also an alcoholic and whenever he got drunk he would call Caleb and his older brother Ruben derogatory names for gay people and would beat them. His mother would try and protect him and try and give him a chance to express himself. But the beatings and verbal abuse carried on until Caleb was 13 that's when he started to cut himself to relieve himself of the stress and anger he felt. Later in that year his parents were at a charity event, driving home both were killed in a drunk driving hit and run. Being a wealthy and respected lawyer's sons both Caleb and Ruben were followed by the media. When Caleb had reached high school age Ruben decided it was time to leave New York and moved both him and his brother to Lima.
